We are fortunate to be first generation farmers. We bought our farm in 2002 as a place to begin our lives together. The farm was the homestead of a much larger farm that had been parceled out over the years. Through substantial commitments of time and resources we were soon farming our place and leasing other parcels. Fast forward twenty years and we added a second farm and expanded our herd.
Troy's parents grew up on small farms in southern Missouri. Growing up he spent many weekends working, playing, and learning.
Wendy grew up in a suburb and always loved the outdoors. Her parents always had a backyard mini orchard from grapes, gooseberries, blackberries, cherries, peaches, and apples. She has many special memories of summers climbing in a tree.

We couldn't do it without them. Planting, harvesting, cutting hay, sorting cattle, building fence, or winter feeding are followed by gatherings at sunset for good food and fellowship.
The cattle are composed of a Black Angus cross, featuring Circle A genetics.
Our cows are raised using regenerative farming principals. They are on a mix of seasonal forages and free choice grain.
They are hormone and antibiotic free.
